Frage 1: ist es moglich die eingabe eines Mwst nummer bie einem konto zu kontrolieren ? Frage 2: wann die kunde eine gultigen MwSt nummer hat, ist dehr abrechnung dan auch OHNE VAT ? Frage 3: beim standard shop am MwST nummer eingabe steht (Only for countries out of the EU!) Muss das nicht IN sein ? vielen dank unt entschuldigung fur mein slechtes deutsch ;-)
ph1975
Hi ddrum, i´ll try to answer your questions in English, might be a little bit easier. Q1: You can enable the Customers VAT-Id to be entered during registration process. In the Admin Console go to "Shop Einstellungen" (shop settings) -> "Mandanten" --> Your Shopname --> USt-ID Optionen Change "Check aktiv" to true -> This will do a basic check on the VAt-ID whether the entered number seems to be a correct Vat. If you want to make sure, the Vat-id is correct, change "live check" to true. As far as i know, there is an interface to an official Vat-Check-System, which is then being triggered and the result sent back to the customer registration form. Private customers from foreign countries always pay gross prices of the country the shop is located. So if your shop is located in germany, a French private customer would pay german 19% VAT. Seeing net prices in the shop will only work for logged in customers, as only then the system knows whether it is a business customer of a foreign country. On the invoice for this foreign customer, the VAT-ID of the customer and yours as well have to be printed! quite a good article (in German) is to be found on Goetz Buchholz. Umsatzsteuer bei Auslandsgeschäften Have a look at the table, where you should find all necessary options. An overview about selling goods within and outside EU - for Germany, further rules apply, depending if you are a so called "Kleinunternehmer" (Small business) please see: mediafon - der Ratgeber Selbstständige - Darf ich für umsatzsteuerfreie Umsätze Vorsteuer abziehen? Hope this helps, all this information is provided without warranty ;-)
